FlashNotion ("the Service") is a mobile application provided by makasete inc. ("we", "us", or "the Operator"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle user information in connection with the Service.
The Service is a mobile app for writing data to your Notion workspaces. Form data and database configuration are stored entirely on your device (local storage and the OS secure storage). Our server only handles the Notion OAuth authorization code exchange and does not store or accumulate your content data or access tokens. Communication with the Notion API is performed directly from the app.
(1) Notion OAuth Information
When you connect a workspace, we obtain an access token and workspace name/ID through Notion OAuth. The authorization code-to-token exchange is performed on our server, but the resulting access token is not stored on our server. It is saved in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
(2) Database Structure Information
We retrieve property definitions (column names, types, options, etc.) from your connected Notion databases and store them in the on-device database. This is used solely for auto-generating forms.
(3) User Input Data
Data entered into forms is temporarily stored in an on-device offline queue until successfully submitted. It is deleted from the device after successful submission.
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers.
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
1. Notion OAuth authorization code exchange (only during workspace connection)
2. Auto-generating forms and syncing database structures
3. Writing data to Notion databases (direct communication from the app to Notion)
The Service integrates with the following third-party services:
(1) Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.)
The app communicates directly with the Notion API for workspace connection, database read/write, and file uploads. Data transmitted includes your access token and form data you enter.
(2) RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.)
We use the RevenueCat SDK to manage premium subscription status. Information related to subscription purchases, restoration, and status checks is sent to RevenueCat.
(3) Apple App Store / Google Play Store
Payments for premium features are processed through the App Store or Google Play. We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers or other payment information.
No personal information, access tokens, or content data is stored on our server (Cloudflare Workers). The server only relays the OAuth authorization code exchange, and data is discarded after the process completes.
You can disconnect your workspace from the app's settings screen. Upon disconnection, all workspace information, form configurations, offline queue entries, and access tokens stored on your device are deleted. Note that data already submitted to Notion remains on Notion's servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or on our website.
